Greetings! My name is Lauren Sopher (she/her). My passions are grounded in ecology, community, art, and design. Nature and art kindle my sense of wonder and connection to place.
At the University of Michigan, I concurrently studied environmental science, illustration, and graphic design. In 2019, I earned a Master of Science degree from the Field Naturalist Program at the University of Vermont. My work centered on facilitating socially just conservation via the PLACE (Place-based Landscape Analysis & Community Engagement) Program. I currently work as a wetlands ecologist with the State of Vermont.
